Android text photos wont download

 · Can receive but can’t open some text messages from an iphone. Says to Download the message but download always fails. I just change my setting from Wifi to Data and then try again. Message downloads. This has worked for the past few years for me. Hopefully this helps. I rooted it and put a custom rom on it and now it wont allow me to get any pics in a text message. i have trird many different rom and that didnt help either. I still cant figure how to fix this.
